Sampson County Girl Reported Missing

SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. — SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. -- The Sampson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a 14-year-old girl believed to have run away from home.

Authorities said Camie Elizabeth Wright left her home on Moltonville Road in the Turkey community on Saturday evening and has not been seen since.

She was last seen walking toward N.C. Highway 24. Authorities believe she may be in Sanford.

Wright is described as a white female, standing about 5 feet 5 inches and weighing about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes. No photo of her was available as of 8 p.m. Sunday.

According to her mother, Wright has a history of running away from home and was located in Fayetteville earlier this month after a previous attempt to leave home.
