FAYETTEVILLE — The military and communications industry are talking about the future at a technology conference in Fort Bragg.
Companies are showcasing their latest technology, which they believe can help win wars. Peter Cuviello, the Army's Chief Information Officer, says the future of fighting is real-time situation awareness, not just for soldiers, but for weapon systems.
"Everything on the battlefield will be connected to a network, so everyone knows what's going on. That's the future," he says.
The Armed Forces Technology Expo continues through Wednesday.
