Only dogs and cats are welcome at the Ultimate Pet Resort. It opened last month but this bed-and-breakfast does not have cages, just 25 temperature-controlled guest rooms. And more space will be added when a new wing opens later this month.
The Ultimate Pet Resort also includes a puppy playground.
Owners try to make it as stress-free for pets as possible.
"They're getting attention so they feel like they're at home. A home away from home We try to keep it less traumatic for them," said Julie Roach.
The daily rates range from $12 to $17, not including food. Pet owners will also be able to log on to see their best friends through streaming video, starting in September.
