FAYETTEVILLE — The driver of a charter bus that crashed and injured several Fayetteville high school students is speaking out.

Darol Britt made an appearance in court Thursday morning on charges related to the April bus crash in Georgia.

Parents and students from Massey Hill Classical High School have been waiting for Britt to take responsibility for the accident which happened on the way to a band competition in Florida.

Talking with reporters, Britt would only comment on the status of an attorney.

"I've got an attorney that's going to represent me because of personal injury cases. I haven't found one to represent me. After that you'll all be notified of what's going on," he says.

Britt is scheduled back in court on September 13.
