New N.C. State Program Pays Tuition For Low-Income Students

RALEIGH, N.C. — A "Pack Promise" will give hundreds of N.C. State students a free college education.
The university announced the new financial-aid program for students from low-income families on Friday. The university plans to help as many as 400 freshmen a year. The program pays for college and gives the students extra support to help them succeed.
