SPRING LAKE, N.C. — A pedestrian died Friday morning after she was struck by a pickup truck in Spring Lake.
The accident occurred at around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 87 and Manchester Road.
Police confirmed the pedestrian was dead when they arrived.
It is not known whether foggy conditions were a factor. The accident is under investigation.
