WILSON, N.C. — A Wilson County principal will not be reporting back to school.
Speight Middle School principal Jeremy Stevens resigned after a second DWI charge.
Stevens had returned to work two weeks ago after being suspended because of a drunken driving arrest in February, but authorities in Beaufort County charged him again this weekend.
The assistant principal will take over for the remainder of the school year.
