DUNN, N.C. — A small police department is coming under fire.
A defense lawyer said the Dunn police chief let his son roam around the evidence room. The 25-year-old is not a law officer.
Because of this, one lawyer filed a motion in Harnett County court. He said he is worried evidence in one of his cases may have been tampered with.
WRAL has learned the chief's son was doing an internship at the police department for college credit.
