Reward Program Takes Aim At Illegal Guns

DURHAM — The Bull City is taking aim at illegal gun use and sales.

Durham city

leaders announced a new initiative that pays people who call CrimeStoppers about illegal guns.

Dozens of area businesses helped fund the gun bounty project, which will offer rewards of $250 when a weapon is confiscated.
