DURHAM, N.C. — The
Durham Bulls
kick off their season at home Friday night.
The team, which has played eight games on the road so far, has a 7-1 record.
The gates will open at 6 p.m. for the game against the Toledo Mudhens.
Taking the mound will be Duke University's J.J. Redick, who will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The team is led by new manager John Tamargo.
Last season brought in 520,000 fans.
