<b>DURHAM</b> — A Durham developer hopes to build more apartments in the Bull City.

Woods Partners has an option to buy land on Hillsborough Road near Erwin Square. The plan is to build an apartment complex with close to 400 units on less than six acres.

Supporters say the high-density development is a good example of smart growth.

Before the plan can go forward, the city's zoning committee must vote to re-zone the area.
