Eno Festival Falls Short Of Last Year's Mark

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — The final numbers are in for this year's Festival For The Eno.

About 18,000 people attended the festival on Wednesday, the festival's last day. That was a record, but not enough to make up for a slow start to the annual event.

Organizers say a total of 37,000 people attended, but the festival generated about $30,000 less than last year. The money is used to preserve the river.
