RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities are investigating the circumstances involving a pickup truck that crashed into a north Raleigh home.
Police believe the driver went into a diabetic coma and crashed into the living room of the house on Litchford Road.
A grandmother and granddaughter were inside the home on the other side of the house when the accident occurred. They were not hurt.
The driver, who has not yet been identified, was briefly trapped in his vehicle, but he has been rescued.
He was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known.
