A Big First For RDU

RDU INTERNATIONAL — An aviation milestone occurred at Raleigh-Durham International Airport when an American Airlines Boeing 777 landed at just after 4 p.m. Sunday.
It is the largest aircraft in the airline's fleet, seating 245 people.
The 777 will operate on trans-atlantic routes, initially between RDU and London's Gatwick Airport.
The 777 also features a Flagship Suite in First Class, offering, among other amenities, swivel chairs, a laptop powerport and individual satellite phones.
