Vote On Coker Project Set

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — The Raleigh City Council is scheduled to make a final vote on the Coker Project Tuesday.

Developer Neal Coker wants to build an office and residential project behind the Manpower building on Oberlin Road and Wade Avenue. Hundreds of people in that neighborhood and around the city do not like the idea at all.

This weekend, they asked Coker to withdraw the plan so they can work with him to come up with a consensus. The Oberlin group says they have not heard back from Coker.
