RALEIGH, N.C. — First-time home buyers could soon find their dream home in downtown Raleigh. On Tuesday, the City Council approved a plan to sell four restored homes in the Martin Haywood neighborhood.
Four other houses could go on the market soon. The St. Augustine's Community Development Corporation will handle selling the homes to low and moderate income people looking to own their very first home. It's part of a short-term redevelopment strategy for the area.
