Law Enforcement Associates Delays SEC Filing

YOUNGSVILLE, N.C. — Law Enforcement Associates

(LEA), a provider of surveillance and security products for military, law enforcement and other agencies, said Friday it is pushing back the filing of its 2005 financials and also restating earnings.

LEA (Amex: AID) said it planned to file its fourth quarter 2005 and full-year 2005 earnings report by April 15.

Financial results from 2004 and the first three quarters of 2005 are also being reviewed, the company said. Filed reports for those time periods "should no longer be relied upon as they will require adjustments," LEA said.

The "adjustments will have a negative impact on previously reported revenues, net earnings and losses, and balance sheets," the company added.

Paul Feldman, president of LEA, called the mistakes "inadvertent reporting errors".
