GREENEVILLE, N.C. — A fire inside an East Carolina University dorm caused extensive damage to the building.
According to authorities, the blaze occurred early Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters quickly contained the flames to the third floor, but there was smoke damage throughout the building. There is no word yet on injuries or a possible cause of the fire.
