Scynexis
.
Scynexis is a drug discovery and development company.
Kirby, who was already a board member, replaces Philip Chauveau. Scynexis said Chauveau is retiring as chairman but will remain on the board.
Kirby joined the Scynexis board in 2004.
In another board change, Patrick Langlois, a former vice chairman and chief financial officer at Aventis, is replacing Laurent Arthaud.
