One Injured In Raleigh Police SUV Accident

RALEIGH, N.C. — One person was taken to the hospital after a car and a Raleigh police vehicle were involved in an accident.

The accident happened on Edenton and McDowell streets in downtown Raleigh.

According to the police report, Christopher Adam Weeks was driving an unmarked SUV when he activated emergency equipment when he stopped at a red light. He proceeded to drive through the intersection and hit another vehicle driven by Natalie Jean Tunstall.

Investigators told WRAL Turstall suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
