RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Florida-based
Stiefel Laboratories
has completed the purchase of what will be its new facility in RTP.
Stiefel plans to move its global research and development headquarters to the former Eli Lilly facility in RTP later this year. The move was announced in January. The company will also consolidate other operations at the site, investing more than $50 million and creating more than 200 new jobs over the next five years.
Stiefel focuses on dermatological products.
The News & Observer reported that Stiefel paid $30 million for the 155,000-square foot facility.
