CHARLOTTE — Quick, name the players from North Carolinacolleges expected to be picked in the first round of the NBAdraft. Don't forget Rodney White.
Most experts have the freshman forward from Charlotte slated asa top ten selection, shortly after Duke's Shane Battier but beforeNorth Carolina's Joseph Forte.
White is a six-foot-nine forward who averaged 18 points and sixrebounds last season.
Scouts projected him as a mid-first-round pick when he initiallydeclared himself eligible for the draft. But his recent workoutsfor scouts and team officials have his stock soaring.
White says at least 11 teams have seen him work out, and atleast 15 eventually will see him.
