2 Bodies Found in Fayetteville Apartment
Two bodies were found inside a Fayetteville apartment Tuesday morning, but police were releasing few details of their investigation.
Posted — UpdatedPolice were called to Building 72 of the Cambridge Arms Apartments off McPherson Church Road and Morganton Road at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday after a neighbor reported that all of the windows of the apartment were open.
An officer entered the apartment and found the bodies, police said.
Police said they were treating the case as a suspicious deaths investigation, but details as to where the bodies were found in the apartment, the cause of death or how long the bodies might have been inside weren't released.
The two victims haven't been identified.
A neighbor described the residents of the apartment as a man and woman in their 20s.
"My manager called me ... and notified me that something had happened, that she hasn't been showing up for work," said Lisa Howard, who worked with the woman. "(He) said they found them both in the apartment."
