School Bus Involved In Downtown Raleigh Wreck

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people were slightly injured when a vehicle collided with a school bus in downtown Raleigh late Wednesday afternoon.

A Wake County school spokesman says Bus No. 1114 from Root Elementary School was involved in a traffic accident on southbound Raleigh Boulevard near Glascock Street in downtown Raleigh around 4:15 p.m.

Both the bus driver and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to WakeMed, but aren't believed to be seriously injured. Authorities said that the 16 students aboard the bus were not hurt.
