DUNN, N.C. — A man was found beaten to death in his own home in Harnett County. Authorities say they have few clues and lots of questions.
Charles Baker, 81, was found dead on his living room floor on Saturday. Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect based onwitness descriptions of a suspicious person seen in the area shortlybefore the murder.
"We're getting a lot of good response from the neighborhood overthere, and people around there think they know this person, soanybody else who think they have any information related to this[case], we'd appreciated any calls," says Capt. Jerry Lamm of the HarnettCounty Sheriff Office.
Lamm says it appears the motive for Baker's murder wasrobbery.
