BENSON — People are praising a Benson girl who found $1,700 and helped get it back to its rightful owner.

Nicole Covington waits tables at a Pizza Hut. After cleaning up a table, she found an envelope with seventeen $100 bills.

She gave the envelope to her boss, who found the owner, Janice Morgan.

"God bless her. That's all I am saying," Morgan said. "When I got home, I said, 'Thank God for people like her, who still have some honesty left in them.'"

Morgan was saving the money for a present for a son on his sixteenth birthday.

Nicole Covington received a $10 reward for her good deed. Pizza Hut gave her a $50 bonus for her honesty.
