FAYETTEVILLE — Shoppers in Fayetteville are getting into the holiday spirit. Hundreds of people began buying gifts Friday at the Holly Day Fair.
The annual Junior League fundraiser is always a popular one. All proceeds from the gift and craft show are donated to children's welfare groups and agencies in the community.
"Our signature project is the child advocacy center. Over $66,000 will go into that area this year," says chairperson Deborah Taylor.
Holly Day Fair continues through the weekend at the Charlie Rose Agri-Expo Center:Friday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Sunday, Noon - 5 p.m.Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 5 to 12.
