<b>SMITHFIELD</b> — Troopers say a woman fell asleep  while she was driving her Ford Explorer on Highway 70 west of Smithfield

The SUV ran into a mail box then ran off the road, rolling several times.

One passenger was thrown out of the Explorer during the accident, and was later air lifted to UNC Hospitals. The three others were not seriously hurt.
