<b>SPRING HOPE</b> — A Spring Hope congregation has come together to overcome a devastating fire.

An early morning blaze badly damaged the sanctuary of Clifton Chapel church Saturday.

The church's pastor, Dr. Robert Atkinson, says there is a spiritual lesson to be learned.

"I just feel like the Good Lord is going to give us something," he says.  "It's been working, and it's been opening hearts, and I feel no doors will be closed to us."

Atkinson says a planned revival will go on as scheduled next week.  Nearby churches have offered their sanctuaries to the congregation for their twice-monthly Sunday services.

Investigators do not know what started the fire.
