NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A former student shot through the doors of a Christian elementary school Monday and killed three children and three adults after elaborately planning the massacre by drawing out a detailed map and conducting surveillance of the building, police said.

<b>DURHAM</b> — A Durham woman is in the hospital after a run-in with a police cruiser Friday.

The accident happened on Liberty Street shortly after 9 a.m.  Corporal Joe Kelly was responding to call when he hit Linda Lee Jones.

She was taken to Duke Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Corporal Kelly had his lights and sirens on.  He has been placed on leave while the department investigates the accident.
