ELM CITY — A Wilson County town's water woes are improving a bit.

Elm City town managers think lightning hit a water pump Wednesday night, shutting it down.

Some people have their water back, but the pressure is nowhere near where it should be. It will take days to build back up.

Anyone who needs bottled water can pick it up at the rescue squad on Main Street.
