RALEIGH — Walnut Creek played host to the reigning teen queen of pop music Tuesday evening.
Britney Spears performed in front of a sold-out crowd at theAlltel Pavilion. Millions of young teens look to Spears as a pop star and role model, but sometimes her skimpy outfits and sexy lyrics put parents on edge.
Kathy Anderson says she talks with her children about Spears' fashion sense.
"As a mom, I think she could dress a little more appropriately," says parent Kathy Anderson. "We talk about it. It's an opportunity to talk about where those lines are crossed."
Tuesday's "Oops, I Did It Again" tour stop was a make-up date for a canceled show back in June.
