Author Sells N.C. Game Company

MORRISVILLE — Best-selling author Tom Clancy has sold his Morrisville-based video game company.Red Storm Entertainment. was bought by Paris-basedUbi Soft Entertainmentfor 45 (M) million dollars in cash.

Four-year-old Red Storm was founded by Clancy and has produces action-adventure games based on Clancy's military thrillers.

Red Storm says it will keep its operations in Morrisville, and expects to retain most of its 100 employees.

Clancy gives up his title as chairman of the company.
