FAYETTEVILLE — A woman was hit by a car about noon Sunday on Fort Bragg Road. She later died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The Fayetteville Police Department said Vera Bullard Reeves, 85, was hit at 12:35 p.m., approximately 400 feet from the Oak Ridge Avenue intersection.
She died at the hospital shortly before 2 p.m.
No charges will be filed.
