LILLINGTON — Authorities in Harnett County are investigating an overnight drowning.
It happened at Acapulco Lake, off River Road, right outside Lillington about 1:30 Sunday morning.
Stephen Wilfong, 31, was at the lake with friends. He jumped in, but never surfaced.
His body was recovered about four and a half hours later.
Wilfong worked at Fort Bragg.
