The Salisbury Police Department is searching for two missing children, 2-year-old Igh’Jhlan Silver and 3-year-old Prasjhas Reid. The victims are believed to be with Kevin Antonio Smith. Smith is believed to be in a Gray 2023 Nissan Altima with NC license tag number Khb1698.

<b>RALEIGH</b> — Raleigh police have a suspect in a shooting at the Apartments at Stonehenge early Thursday morning.

Police have arrested and charged Elbert Byrd, 30, with the shooting.  Police say a man was shot several times in the chest at the apartment complex.

The victim, who police have not identified yet, is listed in stable condition. Police say Byrd was a friend and roommate of the victim.
