Durham Police Look For Suspect In Murder of 95-Year-Old Man

— Durham policeare looking for an armed and dangerous suspect in the murder of a 95-year-old man.

Jason Troy Johnson, 19, is wanted in the stabbing death of Bob Carson. Police believe he killed Carson and left his body behind a Heilig-Meyers store on Miami Boulevard last month.

Carson was last seen at a Hardee's restaurant May 28, where he went after going to church.

Durham police found Carson's car later that Sunday afternoon.

Early the next day, Carson's body was discovered behind the store, just a few blocks from Carson's home.

Crimestoppers is offering a $1,200 reward to anyone with any information leading to Johnson's arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call(919) 683-1200.
