— An unidentified woman was forced from her car at approximately 6:30 a.m. Friday morning in Durham at the North Mangum Street Information Center. The woman says the suspect sexually assaulted her at the Information Center.

The suspect then forced her back into the car and drove her to a rural location in Wake County. She was taken to an abandoned home near Old Stage road and John Adams, where she was again raped.

The suspect then forced her to drive to Raleigh. He got out on Martin Street at the CAT bus pick up point at the Fayetteville Street Mall.

The woman flagged down State Capital Police officer Karen Weaver after the suspect fled the car. She sustained many cuts and abrasions to the face and body, a broken nose and possibly a broken jaw.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male of medium brown complexion, with a two-week old beard and mustache. He has a religious tattoo on his left shoulder.

The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a dark blue shirt with a yellow "Prom 95" logo on the left breast. He wore white sneakers with black trim.
