<b>RALEIGH</b> — Raleigh police are searching for a man charged in connection with the death of a woman late Friday evening.

Police have charged Charles Darryl Dickerson, 39, with murder in connection with the death of 42-year-old Brenda Fox, whose body was found at about 10:30 p.m. Friday at

.  She had been struck by a blunt object, according to investigators.

Police said that Dickerson and Fox knew each other and they believe the alleged homicide wasn't a random act.

Dickerson stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He may be driving a burgundy 2006 Toyota Camry LE with North Carolina license
