Triangle Man Says Terrorists May Not Be Finished

RALEIGH — June 27m 1996 - 5:14 p.m. EDT

A Triangle man says this week's bombing in Saudi Arabia did not come out of the blue. He says there were published warnings months ago.

Mann Saddeq was born in Kuwait, but has lived in Raleigh for the past nine years. He keeps up with what's going on in his homeland by way of Arab newspapers mailed to him by relatives

Saddeq told WRAL-TV5'sMark Robertsthere was an obvious warning issued in one of the papers just after four Muslim militants were executed for a November, 1995 attack on a U. S. military installation.

According to his sources, Saddeq says the terrorists have more attacks planned, but with heightened security and world-wide awareness of this most recent tragedy, he doubts they'll have much luck.

Saddeq says he thinks if terrorists realize U.S. leaders are serious about finding and punishing them, it could help cut down on such attacks
