Police Arrest Suspect In Fayetteville Slaying

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police made an arrest Wednesday in connection with a slaying that occurred in January.

Officers arrested 29-year-old Mark Andrews in connection with the shooting death of 41-year-old Lamont Constant.

Constant was shot while at his home on 241 Second Street in the Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park on Jan. 10. He died two days later.

Andrews was arrested Wednesday at a home on Chilton Drive and charged with first-degree murder.
