Suspect Arrested In Bank Robbery, Bomb Threat

RALEIGH, N.C. — A bank robbery suspect will be in court on Wednesday to face multiple charges.

Raleigh police arrested Randy Hawley off Wake Forest Road late Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly held up a First Citizens Bank on Fairview Road. Police said Hawley claimed to have a bomb during the robbery, but no explosives were found.

Hawley now faces several charges, including robbery and resisting arrest.
