The Carolina Panthers have signed a multi-million dollar contract with a well-known Swedish name, but it's no football star.
Ericsson, a giant Swedish communications company, paid at least $25 million for the honor of having its name placed on the new home of the Panthers.
Panthers officials say Ericsson Stadium will wear its new name in time for the team's first pre-season game August 3, 1996
