Raleigh Teacher Recognized for Use of Technology

A Raleigh teacher's exceptional use of technology in the classroom has garnerned her national recognition.

Microsoft Corp. andTechnology and Learningmagazine sponsored a national contest for teachers using technology in grades K through 12. Ligon Middle School teacher Caroline McCullen was named "Teacher of the Year".

McCullen was recognized for expanding her students' horizons by linking them to the world through the internet. She won three computers and a variety of educational software for use in her classroom
