Two Police Officers Resign, One Reprimanded in Clayton

Two Clayton police officers accused of sexual misconduct while on duty have resigned from the force. A third officer will keep his job, but is being punished.

Officers Steve Little and John O'Dell resigned yesterday, just before the town manager was to hand down punishment. The third officer, Kurt Marino, was reprimanded, placed on probation and suspended for 36 hours.

In March of this year, two women accused the officers of sexual misconduct.No criminal charges were filed.

Town Manager Ralph Clark now says he considers the case closed
