FAYETTEVILLE — May 17, 1996, 10:34 a.m.EDT
In the past three days, three Fayetteville churches have been hit by vandals.
Bricks have been hurled through windows, causing thousands of dollars in damage. Nothing has been stolen.
Two of the churches have been damaged by vandalism before.
Police continue to investigate. They think the culprits may been teenagers or young adults who regard these episodes as pranks. The "pranks," however, could cost parents money. If their children are found to have committed the crimes, the parents may have to pay up to $2,000 of the damage
