Police are looking for a 14-year-old suspect in connection with the death of another 14-year-old in Cumberland County.
Rodney Sams died from a gunshot wound to the chest Friday night. He was a student at Anne Chestnut Middle School where he participated in track-and-field, wrestling and football.
An assistant principal says the school was filled with sadness when students learned of Sams' death.
The boy's father believes the suspect was trying to get a gold chain that Rodney Sams wore.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's office cannot release the suspect's name because he is a juvenile.
