Durham police have arrested  one man and are searching for another after an exchange of gunfire  Thursday morning.

It began in the city maintenance yard when an officer ordered the two  men to stop.

Edward Brodie (pictured, right)  was arrested on charges of armed robbery  and is in custody. Police are still looking for Kaseme Hicks (above, left)

Police say the two men stole a VCR from a nearby apartment building.
