Police have charged three male Chapel Hill High School students with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female classmate.
Two of the boys, both 15, face first-degree sex offense and second-degree kidnapping charges.
State confidentiality laws prevent the release of the 15-year-olds' names.
Patric Lamont Moore, 16, was charged with aiding and abetting a second-degree kidnapping.
Those charges come a week after the female student reported that she had been sexually assaulted over a period of about 30 minutes in the school's cultural arts building. The alleged incident took place during school hours.
The three charged students have been suspended from school since April 5
