UNC-Chapel Hill student body President-Elect, Aaron Nelson, says hate-grafitti found on books is a dangerous sign. Listen toaufile.

A student got more than she bargained for when she checked out a book at the UNC-Chapel Hill library. Hers, and about 40 other books, had reversed swastikas drawn on them.

Most of the defaced books dealt with such political subjects as Marxism, Communism and Socialism.

Student body President-Elect Aaron Nelson said the vandalism was more than just a prank, it was a dangerous sign.

Nelson has planned a "speak-out" for Friday at the Pit on the UNC campus where students can discuss their feelings about this incident in a positive manner
